Theme: Frogs
Book: Jump, Frog, Jump! by Robert Kalan
Sign language words: Jump, frog
Song: 5 Green and Speckled Frogs
"5 green and speckled frogs (hold up 5 fingers)
Sat on a hollow log (bounce 5 fingers on arm held parallel to body)
Eating the most delicious bugs, YUM, YUM! (pat stomach)
One jumped into the pool (jump)
Where it was nice and cool.
Now there are 4 speckled frogs."
Repeat until there are no frogs left!
Activity: Play leap frog
Craft: Paper plate frogs with party blower tongues (similar craft instructions here)
